General Warranty Information
HiTV Communications Pty Ltd (hereinafter called HiTV) offers a standard 12 months (from the original purchase invoiced date) parts and labour warranty on all HiTV branded hardware products.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
This Warranty is void if failure occurs as a result of

Accident, abuse, negligence, misuse, improper operation or failure to follow the instructions contained in the owner?s manual.

Improper installation, vehicle electrical or wiring faults.
3
Exposure to an excessive amount of dust, dirt or other unreasonable environment conditions.
4
Tampering, alteration, repairs, services or modified made without HiTV Communication?s consent.
5
Damage to products and parts sustained in transit between HiTV Communications and an authorised service centre or dealer is the sole responsibility of the carrier.
6
Damage caused by Acts of God, including without limitation, earthquake, fire, flood, storms or other acts of nature.
7
Any product which has the serial number removed, detached or defaced.
8
Any product not purchased through a dealer appointed and authorized by HiTV.
9
Service performed by an unauthorized person, company, organization or service agent.
10
The product has been damaged due to quality of power supply or voltage.
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This warranty covers all defects in workmanship or materials and failure of the product ?under normal use? for a period of 12 months from the date of ?original purchase?.

Provide a suitable proof of purchase for the product. This includes a copy of the original invoice showing purchase date, model and serial number.

This warranty only applies from the date of purchase of brand new HiTV branded products from an authorised HiTV Communications? Dealer/Reseller in Australia.

This warranty only applies to the original purchaser in Australia Territory as stated on the registration form and is transferable to subsequent owners. Warranty repairs and service must be carried out by a HiTV authorized reseller/dealer or service centers.

If the unit is used in commercial, business, industrial, educational, duplication, rental or similar applications the warranty period shall be 12 months parts & 3 months labour.

The product will either be repaired or replaced with a new or reconditioned product at the discretion of HiTV without any cost to the owner.

Repair or replacement of the product under the warranty does not extend the existing warranty period nor begins a new warranty period.

This warranty does not cover any costs incurred during removal, re-installation, and transport of the product.

HiTV is not liable for any other loss other than the product itself.

Please make sure you have informed your installer to activate the hand-brake safety function from your media source.

By law the driver is prohibited to watch any media program whilst driving.
